After such a beautiful and successful day last year, this year we will be holding our Walkathon and Grandparents Day together again. All grandparents are invited to join us on our walk from Broulee Public School, along Broulee Beach and finishing with lunch at the Surf Club (then back to school of course). All money raised through sponsorship of a child will go back into the school to upgrading equipment and resources for the students. Please sponsor a child and/or join us on the day.
When we arrive at the Surf Club we will be having lunch (the cafe will be open for adults) and singing this years Music Count Us In Song: Paint Me A Song. We hope to see you on the day: Friday, 14th November. As Stage 2 were away at Jindabyne camp last week, we have our weeks 4 and 5 award winners together!
Special award winner Noah was too camera shy ;) Our Stage 2 excursion is creeping up quickly!
Just a reminder: - Student's will need to be at school to board the bus for Jindabyne at 7.45am on Wednesday 29th October. - They will need to pack Recess to have on our way there (stopping at Bemboka). - No lollies or soft drink are to be taken with them. - Have fun! On Tuesday, 14th October, Stage 2 students travelled to St Mary's School in Moruya to watch water conservation hero 'Tapstar' in a funny and engaging show about saving water. Checkout the photos below and read some of the student's reviews in the Wonderful Writing blog. |
